Announcing our next generation 3DMark GPU Benchmark and its first sponsor

June 3, 2026

3DMark has been part of the essential toolkit for many PC gamers and overclockers for almost three decades.

We’ve always raced to make 3DMark one of the first ways gamers can see how their PC can handle what’s next for PC gaming, implementing the latest technologies available to game developers and designing our tests around what the future of gaming will look like.

We’re excited to announce a new fully-path-traced benchmark for 3DMark. This benchmark runs at both 4K-native resolution and a choice of AI-based upscaling and frame generation tech from one of several vendors - making it easy to see how each approach scales and compares.

We’ll be sharing more details about the benchmark and the technologies we’ve chosen to use in it in the coming months.

As with many of our flagship benchmarks, we often collaborate with companies in the PC enthusiast space that share our love of peak PC performance and deliver high-quality products.

We’re very excited to announce that the first sponsor for this upcoming path-traced benchmark is Thermal Grizzly. Thermal Grizzly is a Germany-based company renowned for producing high-performance cooling solutions and accessories designed for PC enthusiasts.

A short demo video of this upcoming benchmark will be shown exclusively at the Thermal Grizzly Booth at Computex 2026. If you’re at Computex now, we highly recommend you visit their booth at:
